Dave Matthews Band (DMB) is a rock group originating from Charlottesville, Virginia. The band was founded in 1991 by front man Dave Matthews (vocals, guitar and songwriter). The band includes members LeRoi Moore (sax), Stefan Lessard (bass), Boyd Tinsley (violin) and Carter Beauford (drums). The band first broke through to the mainstream with their 1994 album Under the Table Dreaming. It would yield hits "What Would You Say," "Satellite" and "Ants Marching."
