Jimmy Buffett is an American singer-songwriter, author, businessman and film producer. He is best known for his hits like “Margaritaville,” “Cheeseburgers in Paradise” and “Come Monday” that highlight his flair for tropical escapism. His band is known as the Coral Reefer Band, and Buffett has a dedicated following of fans known as “Parrotheads.” Jimmy Buffett began his career in Nashville at the tail end of the 1960s as a country artist, and recorded his first album in 1970. Shortly after, Buffett moved down to Key West and established the laid back, easy living lifestyle that would became his signature. In Key West, Jimmy Buffett developed his unique blend of pop, country, folk music with a twist of the tropical. Nissan Pavilion at Stone Ridge or Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, VA, is an outdoor live performance amphitheatre with a 25,000 fan capacity, the largest in the Washington Metropolitan area. The Pavilion is located in semi-rural Prince William County which is approximately 35 miles west of Washington, DC. Opened in 1995, the first group to perform at Nissan Pavilion was The Village People.
