Jimmy Buffett is an American singer-songwriter, author, businessman and film producer. He is best known for his hits like “Margaritaville,” “Cheeseburgers in Paradise” and “Come Monday” that highlight his flair for tropical escapism. His band is known as the Coral Reefer Band, and Buffett has a dedicated following of fans known as “Parrotheads.” Jimmy Buffett began his career in Nashville at the tail end of the 1960s as a country artist, and recorded his first album in 1970. Shortly after, Buffett moved down to Key West and established the laid back, easy living lifestyle that would became his signature. In Key West, Jimmy Buffett developed his unique blend of pop, country, folk music with a twist of the tropical. Lake Amphitheater, is an outdoor amphitheater in Burgettstown,
Pennsylvania, United States, about 25 miles outside of
Pittsburgh off US 22. The Post-Gazette Pavilion is owned
and operated by Live Nation. Post-Gazette Pavilion holds
approximately 23,000 fans - 7,100 in a reserved seating
open-air pavilion and an additional 16,000 on a general
admission lawn. In 2006, the venue hosted 29 concerts,
5 of which were sell-outs: Rascal Flatts, Jimmy Buffett,
Dave Matthews Band, Kenny Chesney and Tom Petty and The
