What are Personal Seat Licenses (PSL)?
A Personal Seat License (PSL) allows the holder to purchase
season tickets for a certain seat in a stadium. Personal Seat
Rights can be sold on the open market when the holder decides
they no longer wish to purchase season tickets. If the seller
chooses not to sell the PSL and not to renew their season tickets,
they forfeit the license back to the team. Most licenses are
only valid for the period of time in which a team plays in a
particular stadium.
So what exactly is a seat right, and how does it differ
from a PSL?
Seat rights are very similar to PSLs except there is no
inheriant ownership involved. The team in question simply allows
a person to transfer their seats to another party. All the other
characteristics apply.
So how exactly do I go about purchasing a PSL?
